Arunachal:  RGU Team inspect lone Nursing college

The official team of Rajiv Gandhi University (RJU) today inspected the lone affiliated Nursing College of Arunachal Pradesh here.

The team of officials led by Chairperson Prof. (Mrs) Jharna Chakravorty,  HoD, Zoology, visited the college for the purpose of granting renewal of Temporary affiliation to the first Nursing college of the state  which is located at Bage Tinali and inspected all the infrastructure as per the guidelines of the university.

They interacted with the officials, faculty,  senior student and discussed the activities of the college, syllabus and pattern of teaching and clinical classes, at college and hospital at RK Mission, Niba Hospital and other hospitals located in the periphery of the capital complex .

They also issued direction to the college authority for strengthening of the education system , up gradation and upliftment of medical and physical health of the people.

While interacting with the students the visitor said that the person who are dealing with health and specially who in medical field should remain fit and fine with determination to serve the patient with commitment are treated as second to god and requited them to concentrate in study and clinical classes with sincerity and dedication with devotion so that they can become excellence in nursing an serve the humanity.

Joint Registrar Dr. David Pertin the team convenor informed this daily that such inspection are necessary to clear the communication gap with the institution. Such  inspections are important academic exercise which is UGC endorsed procedure to keep an eye on quality improvement in terms of teaching- learning facilities and overall growth of a college. It is a welcoming quality check procedure by an affiliating university.

Expressing satisfaction, the committee advised further that the college fraternity improves more in the field of providing modern ICT facility and internship. He also expressed the hope that with the passing of Anatomy Bill by the state govt now the students of this pioneering college will be in more advantageous position soon to learn the complexities of human bodies in real human corpse.

NENCHS Principal Lila Loyi among other faculty of the college and management committee members were present during the inspection and meeting.
