Minister Urban Development, Land Management, Law & Justice Nabam Rebia and Parliamentary Secretary PWD, UD Techi Kaso visited and inspected the ongoing work progress of the state convention Hall at IG Park today.
Both Rebia and Kaso discuses the work progress of the project and also spoke about maintaining cleanness and finishing touch should be upto standard so that the Hall lasted for years together and remain as an ascot for the state.
Rebia informed that the state government in its cabinet sitting on Jan 30 have descendent to name the Convention Centre after Late Dorjee Khandu former Chief Minister. We have come to inspect the progress of the work and satisfied after inspection the work progress. The project is nearing completion the workers are giving a finishing touch and finishing works are underway and the project will be ready Before February 10.
Rebia said that there is a tentative visit of Prime Minister Narendra Modi has been given as February 15 we on his arrival at state the formal inauguration of the Convention Centre would be done. he added
