Arunachal: Rebia directs to dismantle dilapidated ME School building at Lengka

Minister Urban Development, Land Management and Law & Justice and Doimukh Local MLA Nabam Rebia today directed to dismantle the old and dilapidated ME School at Lengka immediately to pave way for construction of a new building immediately.

Minister after inspecting the Lengka ME School alongwith DDSE Sorang Tapi Zara, PRI members and School Managing Committee after several complaint of pathetic condition of the school and need of a new building.

Addressing the gathering Rebia said that there is a need of a new building as the present building is bad shape. On the request of the local people Rebia announced a sum of Twenty Five Lakh under SIDF scheme for construction of separate building and directed the DDSE to prepare estimate and start all formalities for its construction at the earliest.

He warned that if the quality is not maintained the payment to the contractor will not released. He requested the school authority to monitor  for a quality construction and in war footing mode so that he next session is started in the new building until a temporary arrangement is made locally for the convenient of the students of the said school.

Balijan ADC incharge Nabam Tajik, Balijan AS Chairperson Teli Kai, lengka ASM Techi Kama, Headmaster Techi Kako, SMC Chairman Techi Talum, BJP leader Yowa Bullet, other PRI members, GBs and local people were present on the occasion.
