Arunachal:  Ramakrishna Mission Celebrates 156th birthday of Swami Vivekananda     


The 156th birthday celebration of Swami Vivekananda was observed in Ramakrishna Mission, Aalo of Arunachal Pradesh  with much fanfare and gaiety. Various programmes were organised in the Main Prayer Hall from 7.00 am to 12 noon in the midst of 700 well-wishers and admirers of the Mission attended the day long programme.

An elaborate Puja & Homa were performed by the Sadhus & Brahmacharin of the Mission and devotional were prenented by monks, staff and students in presence of well-wishers and Managing Committee.

The programme started with Vedic chanting and Stotras by monks followed by reading of life and teachings of Swami Vivekananda in Hindi language followed by photo exhibition on life and teaching of Swami Vivekananda for the visitors.

In the evening, special arati was performed along with Sankirtan and bhajans. Sweets were also distributed to all.
