Arunachal police to launch “Tourist Police”

Arunachal Police is going to launch Tourist Police  to make state a tourist friendly destination.

Arunachal Pradesh is one of the most attractive tourist destination in India. There has been an  exponential  growth in tourist visits which could be credited to its mesmerising scenery and abundant natural beauty. As a result, the tourists are intending to visit Arunachal Pradesh.

The Police department under the able guidance of  SBK Singh, DGP Arunachal Pradesh is going to launch Tourist Police  to make our state a tourist friendly destination. Chief Minister Pema Khandu will launch the Tourist Police.  The launching programme will be held on 2nd Nov’2018.

“Training cum Workshop for Tourist Police on Tourism “of Arunachal Pradesh Police started w.e.f 29th Oct’2018 to 01st Nov’2018 at PTC Banderdewa. During the said training cum workshop, the uniform personals will be  sensitised about the issues and measures regarding visit of tourists covering various aspects like obtaining of ILP, medical assistance, transportation, accommodation, route direction, marketing, ticket availability, special permits concerning border areas, feasibility in respect of weather conditions etc.

Surendra Choudhary, Principal PTC, Banderdewa inaugurated the course. DSP(Trg) Dusu Kaling and other staff of PTC, Banderdewa was present on the occasion. The distinguished faculty members from RGU Rono Hills & Tourism Department, GoAP will take the  classes on various issues.
