Arunachal: police and security personnel should be public friendly- Nabam Rebia

Minister Land Management, Environment and Forest, and local MLA Nabam Rebia today appeal the police and security personnel should be public friendly  while discharging their responsibility as a security personnel in maintaining law and order,  peace and tranquillity.

He was addressing the police personnel and  trainees as chief guest at the Police Training centre (PTC) here on the occasion of final round of Arunachal Pradesh Police Athletic and firing competition.

He said that law and order problems can only manage if police personnel are public friendly and sincere. He  motivated the moral of the forces on the occasion.

Guest of Honour, Home & Urban development Minister  Kumar Waii while elaborated several developmental schemes, project and reform undertaken by the Home department for the police modernisation and welfare measures.

Director General of Police (DGP) S.B.K. Singh, encourage the personnel and appeal them to be discipline and maintain good relation with all and also communal harmony and brotherhood. He also explained as the competition being conducted for the efficiently among the personnel and said such completion will continue every year to boost up the moral of the moral.

Ct. Swarang Basumatary, Ct Balum Bellai, Ct Joynath Mili were declared 1st, 2nd, & 3rd Prize winners respectively in 100 mtrs. Race.

Ct Swrang Basumatary, Ct Tanu Kiri, Ct Balum Bellai secured 1st, 2nd, & 3rd prize respectively in 400 mtyrs. Race.

In Shot put Ct S S Mizi, HC Tako Tacho,HC Duba Bagra got 1st, 2nd, & 3rd prize respectively .

Ct Balum Bellai, Ct JUmdo Lollen, Ct M Doka in Javelin, Ct P Pathori, Ct N Wangno, Ct S S Ronrang in Short Range Firing and Ct A K Prasad, Inspector Duyu Aago and HC N J Singpho got 1st, 2nd, & 3rd prize respectively in Long Range Firing.
