Arunachal: Plogging Run Organized at DNGC

As many as 200 Cadets of NCC and DNGC were participated the programme.

Dera Natung Govt College ( DNGC ) Itanagar organized a “Plogging Run” programme on 7th December 2019. The theme of the programme was “Picking up litter while running and Jogging” initiated by Director General National Cadets Corps, New Delhi, Govt. of India.

The programme was initiated with the celebration of Arm Force Flag Day at college campus. The plogging started from Rama Krishna Mission Hospital, Itanagar and end at Dera Natung Govt. College campus.

As many as 200 Cadets from both Senior Division and Senior Wing of NCC, DNGCI Unit were participated the programme.

Joning the programme, the Principal of Dera Natung Govt. College, Dr. N. T. Rikam recall the contribution of Army, Navy and Air force towards keeping the nation safe and secure.

He briefs the cadets about the Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s Mission of “Fit India” and also the essence of keeping surrounding clean.

The programme was organized under the supervision of Lieutenant Agin Taboh, ANO (NCC) and Dr. Likha Eichir, CTO (NCC).
