Arunachal: OWA observes Binny Yanga’s 4th death anniversary

The fourth death anniversary of  Binny Yanga , founder of Oju Welfare Association (OWA) observed here on Tuesday in OWA premises. In This occasion Tumme Amo, SP, Capital Complex  administered 10-point oath to the gathering to maintain law and order. Those present signed a document containing the oath to follow it in action.

“Remember OWA’s main motto is service to humanity”, said the SP. He cited Lokayukat chairman justice P K Saikia as saying the constitutional body does not intend to punish anyone but it would not tolerate fund misuse meant to tap vast resources of the state in greater welfare of its people.

Recalling his long association with Binny and depicting some personal pictures, the SP, who was accompanied with SDPO R Kamsi and Naharlgun police station OC inspector D Dulom, said that she has left a rich legacy and present chairperson Ratan Anya is breathless in maintaining the tempo.

Appreciating the SP for his innovative steps to maintain law and order, Anya called upon all to assist police to maintain peace for all to live happily.  She also lauded Arunachal Photographic Club members led by president Bengia Mrinal for conducting photographic exhibition and explaining over 100 participating students about relevance of photography.

The APC has been making all possible efforts to record every unique aspects of the state, right from nature, culture, traditions, wildlife, hidden treasures etc, Mrinal said earlier.

In all 22 inmates took part in a drawing completion, organised by Arunachal chapter of Indian Council for Child Welfare as attribute to the great soul.
