Arunachal Orphan Care Society distributes Relief materials to Wakka Fire Victims

In the wake of fire mishap at Wakka village on 21st December 2016 where one aged woman lost her life and rendered hundreds homeless besides precious traditional antiques, the relief materials in the form of cash and kinds from various individuals, civil societies and Student unions have been pouring in from all quarters for the seventh day.

Mrs Rina Longri, founder of Arunachal Orphan Care Society along with the Church elder Mr. James Kimsing have visited the Wakka village on 27th December 2016 to distribute a relief materials viz 50 bags rice, 100 pieces of blankets, 50kgs tea leafs.

 It is very refreshing to note that with the prevailing chaos and indifferences nook and cranny in the state of Arunachal Pradesh, the human touch is still alive irrespective of to which communities you belong.

People from all walks of lives have been reaching the victims of the fire mishap at Wakka village unabated to console the affected people’s and to redeem their urgent requirements.

With this, we can conclude that whatever happens in this world, it happens for a reasons possibly to unite the spirits of all Arunachalees. Hope all the Arunachalees in the days to come will not leave any individuals and household alone to face the reality of life whenever they meet with natural catastrophe such as this and the sense of brotherhood will be keep insteaed as long as all are united to help each other.

 On the other hand, All Changlang District Student Unions headed by President Mr. Salman Mungrey and their General Secretary, Mr. Wachom Rekhung have been engage on donations spree along with the battalion of their executives  for the second day.

Also in Tirap district, All Tirap Student union have started the donations camp at the heart of the Khonsa town to help the fire victims of their neighbours, a Wakka village in Longding district.
