Arunachal: NWS condoles demise of social worker Nissam Nabam

Late Nabam was the state awardee for progressive farming and was the brother of the APPSC chairman Nabam Nipo.

The Nabam Welfare Society (NWS) has condoled the demise of noted social worker and progressive farmer Nissam Nabam of Niti Darlong village under Seijosa Circle of Pakke Kessang district on Saturday after a brief illness.

Late Nabam was the state awardee for progressive farming and was the brother of the APPSC chairman Nabam Nipo.

The NWS in a release said, “the society profoundly acknowledged his immense contributions in different capacities to the society. He was truly dedicated progressive farmer, who was the first to take up the Rubber Plantation in Seijosa Circle and has inspired the people of Seijosa in particular to venture into this grey area of Rubber plantation to make one self reliant and self dependent. On his passing away, the society has lost one of its sincere and dedicated member which is hard to filled in.”

Nissam Nabam, was survived with wife Jyoti Nabam one son and two daughter and old mother and other family members.

The NWS prayed for eternal peace of the departed soul.
