Arunachal: NDRF planted 500 sapling at Hollongi campus

The 12th Bn NDRF personnel planted  more than 500 sapling of different varieties  within it’s campus spread over 66 acres of land at Holongi in Arunachal Pradesh. Saplings like jackfruit, guava, litchi etc, were provided by DFO Naharlagun .

On the occasion AKC Singh commandant, 12 Btln  briefed about the necessity of plantation and pledge to make the campus green, clean and polythene free campus to counter global warming , ecological imbalance due to deforestation.

He advice the personnel that only plant a sapling is not enough, maintains, care  of sapling is most impotent. He also advice the personnel to give water to the sapling to every day.

Speaking to reporter Singh inform that , the 12th Bn NDRF is doing excellent works in every sector besides our duty,  clean drive , plantation drive, medical camp etc.

He also informed that within this year the permanent structure of NDRF camp will start in this 66 acres of land. To get this land state government help the NDRF.

PN singh Dy commander of 12th Bn NDRF, tress the important of plantation around the campus, inspector Bhaskar , inspector Vivek  SI Dorje Phuntso and around 200 Jawans  took parts in the occasion .
