BJP Minority Morcha 38th East Pasighat Mandal on Monday  organised a Sarva Dharam Samellan at Pasighat town club, where Minority Morcha president cum Co-Chairman Tourism Department cooperation of Meghalaya Sofiur Rahman and state Minority Morcha president Loku Sono graced as chief guest and guest of honour respectively.

Addressing the crowd Sofiur Rahman said that, every individual has its right to follow and practice its own religion and customs, for that no one can force. Being a Muslim I have all right to follow my religion as the other do. This is what secular means and for which the party is working for, he said.

We of different religion pray the same god,  just the difference is the name by which we address it. God has never advised to create war in the name of community, religion or place.

“It is by few vested individual and groups to create communal differences for their personal benefit, he added.”

State Minority Morcha president Loku Sono said every individual has his own choice to believe and follow any religion. BJP was never against any particular religion since the party inception.

Minority Morcha is to look and act to the grievances of the people of state and country as a whole. And under the leadership of Chief Minister Pema Khandu and Prime Minister Narendra Modi the country will reach to the new heights of development and peace, he said.

Today few groups just make their personal benefit they use the word secular in different prospective to create differences. We lived in harmony before and should live in future, as our country is a democratic country every person has right to believe in any religion.
