Arunachal: Londing police apprehends 87 people without ILP

within 24 hrs of the demand of checking Inner Land Permit ( ILP ) in and around the Capital complex raised by ANSU ,  87 people without ILP were apprehended by Longding Police in an intensive ILP checking drive carried out here on Saturday.

According to the police sources  60 police personal carried out door to door ILP checking under the close supervision of DC and SP Longding. 

The administration issued a warning to all contractors for refraining from employing Labour without ILPs. because in recent time it has been reported that illegal migrants in Assam are moving towards surrounding states due to NRC checking.

police personnel are fully geared up to tackle the issue. All border entry gates have been put on alert for thorough checking, said a senior police officer. .

Meanwhile all the apprehended people have been booked under Sec 3 of BEFR Act.

The action of the administration was welcomed by one and all. The citizens of Longding are happy to see the administration working in cooperation with Police to make them secure.
