The resident of Tani Colony, 5/1 Banderdewa are doing a nobel work for society and showing others, the way to do something for the society, do not depend on the government for everything.
Locals have decided that ‘ the approach Kachcha road of the colony is to be converted into Concrete pavement and is being done on local contribution. For this nobel work they have started mass social service from Tuesday.
According to Tadar Bingley, Executive Member of Tani-I Colony Welfare Committee, more than 35 residents in the colony took part in social service today . They clean the approach road which is in horrible condition and need its repairing and maintenance immediately .
The work shall continue for next three days and more than 60 people of the colony are serving and contributing the labour. The road measuring around 250 metres will be repaired and converted into Concrete pavement and with side drainage facility, informed Tadar.
Tadar appeal one and all to organise such social service in their respective area in the monsoon so that many blockage will be cleared for immediate restoration of footpath and approach road and drainage etc.
