Arunachal: Likha Yach Debia passes away

Likha Yach Debia is no more. She passed away this afternoon at New Delhi. She is survived by her husband Debia Tana, a son and two daughter.

Renowned gospel singer and Circle Officer of Itanagar Capital district administration Likha Yach Debia is no more. She passed away this afternoon at New Delhi.

Late Yach was a sincere and dedicated officer. Earlier to her present assignment she was working as  Legal Metrology Inspector and through literal entry she joined APCS in 2016.

She was posted at Seppa in East Kameng as Circle Officer  but later transferred to state capital and joined at DC Office Itanagar and then after posted as CO Banderdewa.

She was awarded with several award for her excellent service to the department and state by both the state and central government. She is two time State Gold Medallist for yeomen service.

She is survived by her husband Debia Tana, a son and two daughter.

She was under medical treatment for quite sometime and take her last breathe at Sukhmani hospital at Safderjung enclave, New Delhi today afternoon.

Capital Deputy Commissioner Prince Dhawan condole her demise. In his message Dhawan said that ” she was a  very dedicated officer and made a memorable place in our heart. She will always be remembered. We pray for the eternal peace of the departed soul to rest in peace. In this tragic time the administration is fully with the family members. Dhawan added.

In another press release issued by Arunachal Pradesh Civil service Officers Association (APCSOA) have condole the demise of Likha Yach Debia at New Delhi.

APCSOA mourns the premature demise of Late Likha Yach. Our deepest condolences to them, may they rest in peace. The release added.

Likha welfare society also condole the death of Late Likha Yach Debia. In a prèss release issued by LWS Chairman Likha Teji have expressed their deep condolence and prayed for eternal peace of departed soul in heavenly abode.

In a release Teji said that  she was one of the iconic and leading singer from Likha community. The society have lost a very important and prominent figure which could not be filled soon.

She hails from Radpu village of Deed circle of Lower Subansiri district. Her last rite is expected  to be held at her Naharlagun resident.
