Arunachal: KVS organised two days “ Rashtriya Ekta Parv ”

More than 400 participants comprises of  students and teachers of Kendriya Vidyalaya schools of  the Tinsukia region are participating in the two days event

The Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan organized a regional “Rashtriya Ekta Parv” as a part of Ek Bharat Sresth Bharat programme here at Kendriya Vidyalaya No. 2, Chimpu.

More than 400 participants comprises of  students and teachers of Kendriya Vidyalaya schools of  the Tinsukia region are participating in the two days event, wherein various types of competitions will be held.

S V Jaglekar, Assistant Commissioner of Tinsukia region, KVS informed that there are 38 Kendriya Vidyalayas in the Tinsukia regions which are spread to 4 different states viz., Arunachal Pradesh, Assam, Meghayala and Nagaland.

He said that today’s programme is one of the biggest platforms they provide to students of Kendriya Vidyalayas to showcase their talents and to learn from each other through interacting with students from other states.

He further informed that out of 402 participants, 87 students and teachers will be shortlisted and they will represent at National level Rashtria Ekta Parv 2019-20 which will be held at New Delhi form October 31 to November 3.

“This is a wonderful opportunities where students from different states come together and exhibit their talent. It not only about exhibition of talent but also it is about exchanging of thoughts and ideas that help them become a better human being,” he added.

Dr. Madhu Rani Teotia, Secretary of Education who attended the inaugural function as Chief Guest said that the knowledge that the students gain from this kind of programme is valuable for their growth as stated that such knowledge will be a great help whole their life.

She also said that the government is working hard to improve and provide quality education to the students.

Dr. Tayek Talom, Director of Higher and Technical Education attended the function as Guest of Honour and also spoke on the occasion.

Also, Principal of KV Lekhapani, Pali Sah, Principal of KV NERIST, Manveer Singh Meena and Principal of KV No. 2 Itanagar, G D Meena all spoke on the occasion.
