Arunachal:  Kui Village gets road connectivity

The long felt demand of road connection for the villagers of Kui village under Kakoi circle, has been fulfill by Minister for Urban Development,  Nabam Rebia.

Inspecting the newly constructed road at Kui village Rebia informed that within a year entire construction of road would be completed followed by construction of permanent bridges.

“Last time I visited the village on foot march but today it’s became motorable which is a great achievement,” said Rebia adding that he will extend construction of road till the last village (Lali) including other facilities.

 Stating road construction was approved in 2015-16 financial year under the Inter State Road Connectivity, he further inform that in all total 26 KM would be cover till Lali village which has a tune of Rs. 21 crores.

Since the villagers of Kui, Keden, Dirgha and Boginadi remain dark due to non-connectivity and using rivers and stream for drinking water, Rebia assured to fulfill the requirement of electricity and water as soon as possible and for the same purpose he asked circle administration to make proper census of household.

Stressing on the important of flora and fauna, he exhorted villagers to stop the culture of hunting wild animals and random deforestation of jungle, which indirectly imbalance the ecological system.

As the villagers expressed their immediate requirement of Ambulance service, Rebia announce to provide one ambulance that would ultimately lessen the inconvenience of villagers during emergency case.

Expressing his gratefulness to UD Minister Head Gao Burah, Kakoi, Tarak Pim informed that people of aforesaid villages were living without road connection for last 10 years. In due course of time people were facing innumerable problems in summer season, specially in case of medical emergency, he
