Arunachal: Khandu Cabinet expands by inducting Jarkar Gamlin

Arunachal Pradesh Chief Minister Pema Khandu today expanded his ministry by inducting Jarkar Gamlin as a Cabinet minister. With Gamlin’s induction, the total strength of the Cabinet has risen to 12.

Jarkar Gamlin was administered the oath of secrecy by Governor of Arunachal Pradesh BD Mishra at Darbar Hall of Rajbhawan. Several cabinet minister, MLA, senior officers from Administration and police officers were present.

Gamlin, who represents Aalo East constituency in West Siang district, had been holding the post of Chairman of the Arunachal Pradesh Energy Development Agency (APEDA).

He had also served as the Transport minister in the previous Nabam Tuki-led government. PTI UPL MM LNS

The portfolio of the newly-inducted minister would be allocated soon, sources at the Chief Ministers Office here said.

After the swearing  ceremony  Gamlin, was welcoming by his family members at Sanki Park Bangkow No.3 Itanagar. Gamlin families thanks to CM Pema Khandu for his excellent decision to induct Jarkar as Minister.

” I am delighted to see my eldest brother Jarkar Gamlin back as a cabinet minister after almost 4 years ! Thanks to HCM Pema Khandu ji for inducting him in his council of Ministers and to State BJP President Tapir Gao ji for reposing trust and faith in him, said the younger brother, Jarpum Gamlin.
