Arunachal: KACNPF alleges bogus enrollment

KACNPF demand for prohibition of bogus voter influx at Pani Poling station in 21 Koloriang A/C of Kurung Kumey district.

The 21st Koloriang Assembly Constituency Native People Forum (KACNPF) Claiming that there are hundreds of bogus voters from outsider were enrolling in the electoral rolls of especially Pani polling station of Pani village in 21st Koloriang Assembly constituency of Kurung Kumey  district.

Addressing media person here at Arunachal Press club on Saturday  KACNPF chairmen Bengia Tabiak claimed that they  noticing repeatedly increasing numbers of bogus voter due  to rampant transfer of voters IDs from others areas of State in to Pani polling station.  It can be create law and order problem in area if not intervene by the concern department , he added.

Tabiak also alleged that the enrolling officers and local MLA Pani Taram are responsible for this. The MLA Taram also bring his relative and enrolling at Pani village with political motives, he alleged.

Further he also inform that in this regards they had submitted a representation to the state Chief Electoral officers, district election officer (DEO) to cross-verify the electors, and sought a detailed action report.

The former MLA Lokam Tassar claimed that the Damin circle of Koloriang Assembly voters enrolment turned down due to vain less approach and more over Damin circle is a geographically challenged area for non connectivity of communication. Some time officers are reluctant to conduct election hearing at Damin .

About Pani polling station Tassar claim that the nos of  voters in the year 2013 was only 89, in 2014 = 112,   in 2017 =209 and now in  2018 its reached 215 by increased of 126. Which is also violation of the guidelines of ECI He added.

Reacting sharply  Koloriang MLA Pani Taram inform that the KACNPF creating awareness against the inclusions of bogus vote in Koloriang assembly constituency is a welcome step and appreciated the gesture.

He inform that the statement given by the KNF is nothing but misleading to the innocent people of Koloriang in particular and  state as a whole.

Taram said that as per article 326 of constitution of India and Representation of Peoples Act 1951  anyone above 18 years of age have right to vote, In case of 34 Pani Poling station there have been no inclusion of any bogus voters as the incision and detection process as well as summery revision is going on and we have no knowledge of hundreds of voter inclusion there by online.

The allegation of the so called native forum is baseless and politically motivated. And no iota of truth.

The so called organisation stand against bogus voters inclusion should have think that the family members and relatives  who are staying in other part of state  are including their names with proper process of transfer and is not in his knowledge.

Refereeing his own family members including himself who were earlier included in Doimukh Circle have been transferred and no illegal names have been included which anyone can verify at any point of time. Taram added.
