Arunachal: IYC appoint new APYC president

A two days after former Arunachal Pradesh Youth Congress (APYC)  secretary Nanu Teli join BJP with more than 100 supporters,  the Indian Youth Congress (IYC) appointed Geli Ete as  president of Arunachal Pradesh Youth Congress ( APYC). The president post was vacant since the former president Jikke Tako had join BJP few months back.

Meanwhile, Neelam Tani, Giogi Ganga, Niglar Veo and Kipa Takum have also taken oath as a vice president along with twelve members of general secretary while Pane Arjun, Kley Rijiju  as Spokesperson.

Arunachal Pradesh Congress Committee (APCC) president Takam Sanjay speaking on the occasion of swearing in informed that the selection of candidate to the post of president, vice president and general secretary has been done on the basis of seniority and also performances.

Talking to media person Sanjoy said that after many of congress MLAs have left the party and join BJP government in state gives us the opportunity to organise ourselves into a strong team.

Replying to a question on Smart City Sanjoy said that very less amount have been announced for smart city and it would have less important rather there is a need of more development in state.

Congress  have to bounce back and for which we will show in 2019 coming election. Sanjoy added. The joining programme was attended by several leaders from APCC, APYC, APMC, Seva Dal and others.
