Arunachal Hindi Sansthan to organise Rajya Hindi Sammelan

Arunachal Hindi Sansthan (AHS), an NGO working for the promotion of Hindi language and Devanagri script in the State is all set to organise the first ever Rajya Hindi Sammelan here at the Late Dorjee Khandu Conventional Hall on Saturday. This was  informed by AHS Chairman Takam Sonia.

Deputy Chief Minister Chowna Mein and Art and Culture Minister Dr Mohesh Chai would be gracing the occasion as chief guest and guest of honour respectively.

“Hindi plays an important role in the lives of Arunachalees as it is the only language used for communication among the various tribes which exists in the state. It is not that we want our people to speak correct  Hindi.

The day-long programme on Saturday would also witness the launch of a Hindi magazine- ‘Arunachal Bhoomi’, felicitation of scholars who have contributed a lot in promoting Hindi and launch of an animation video, especially meant for the students. A website of the organisation will also be launched followed by interaction and poetry programme.

Scholars and persona who have interest have been invited as well as Invitation more than 1500 have been dispatched across the state and hope that all person would attend the function.

AHS Secretary Tai Tugung also interacted the media and said that though we have 26 major tribes and more than 120 sub tribes in state and spoke different dialects but Hindi is understood by all and express their feeling in Hindi.

 There are scope of employment in Hindi and appeal the state government to introduce the earlier curriculum of lesions in the books of Primary Classes based on culture, traditional, activities of the state so that we being the locals of state should have our own attachments and emotions whatever we have and our younger generation do not forget our culture, tradition, activity of society.
