Arunachal: Guru Tulku Rinpoche kicks off Buddha Mahotsava in Bomdila

Buddha Mahotsava was kicked off by 12th Guru Tulku Rinpoche, Abbot of Thubchog Gatsel Ling Monastery Bomdila.

Three days of 3rd Edition of Buddha Mahotsava  which is being organising by District Administration west kameng district  kicked off by 12th Guru Tulku Rinpoche, Abbot of Thubchog Gatsel Ling Monastery Bomdila.

Chief Guest, 12th Guru Tulku Rinponche on his address said that Arunachal pradesh is one of tourist hub in Northeast and India as whole, visitors and tourist from outside the Arunachal pradesh and foreign tourist increasing day by day, advised to the local resident, shopkeepers to maintain good hospitality towards tourist, we have to guide and explain about the tourist attracted places.

Patron of the festival who is also the MLA Bomdila Japu Deru on his address said that Lord Buddha is blessing us but we have to hard work for yourself and for the family members. Without hard work we cannot achieve our goals, he thanks the organising committee within a week arrangement of Buddha mahotsav and also thanks culture and traditional society of Ladakh who came  far way from ladakh, further he adviced to six tribe of west kameng district to preserve your culture, identity and tradition, you have to spoke local dialect with your child and family then we can say we preserve our culture and tradition.

Traditional huts of six tribes of west kameng District like  Monpa, Miji( Sajolang), Aka ( Hrusso), Shartang, Bugun and Shertukpen were visted by the Chief Guest and Patron of the festival apart from this he visited Department of Election stall, First aid centre, Galo and adi stall and Nishi stall.

I have interacted with team leader of culture and traditional society of Ladakh Namgyal Dorjee, he said that his team has came here first time, he felt hot till Guwahati, here in Bomdila he felt like ladakh, people are similar to Ladakh and they very cool and hospitality.

Earlier in the morning Mega dance of different tribes of west kameng and magnificient dance of culture and traditional society of ladakh were displayed.

In the evening, Brokpa Dance by kalaktang monpa, monlam traditional dance by Dirang Monpa, Chisam ba traditional dance by Aka tribe, Mukho folk dance by Sajolang tribe, Ajab Ajab traditional dance by Shertukpen tribe and Ningthulung traditional dance by shertukpen tribe were displayed.
