BJP President Tapir Gao today appeal the party workers to get ready and gear up party activities for the forth coming Municipality, panchayat and assembly elections in state.
Addressing a Booth level committee (BLC) Sammelan at Hotel Tosum, Gao said that the party strength lies with the BLC leaders and workers who have to carry forward the principles and ideology of the party and spread the propaganda of the public oriented schemes of the central and state government in the greater interest for the public service with are beneficial to the general masses.
He said that workers are the main person who are having attachments with the general masses can only promote the party base politic in state capital and urge upon not to work in leader base party activities.
He said that BLC have to play a vital role in spreading awareness of the party so that the incumbent Chief Minister Pema Khandu continue if all the BLC members and party leaders and cadres shoulder their responsibility and take it as a challenge so as maximum seats are occupied by the ruling BJP in all election.
Referring to distribution of party ticket for Itanagar assembly constituency Gao said that BJP party ticket will given among few aspiring candidates like sitting MLA Techi Kaso, Tame Phassang, Kipa Babu, Techi Neecha which shall be recommended at various level and also remind that a survey is being carried for the same and one cannot say that party ticket will be given to a particular leader.
Local MLA Techi Kaso while lauded the capital district city unit president Tarh Soping and Incharge Tarh Tarak for launching the programme which continue for a month have motivated the BLC members to work for the party as a responsibility. He assured his support at any time as and when required to any person of the capital complex.
He however highlighted several schemes of capital complex like AP Civil Secretariat, AP Legislative Assembly, DK Convention Hall, MLA apartment, ISBT and RCC bridge near Lekhi village, bridge near Helipad etc and appeal all to be united for the development of state.
BJP Secretary and Itanagar Incharge Tarh Tarak in his address said that since the BLC chalo abhiyan which started from July 6 have reached all the 72 polling station and meet all the BLC executive members and discussed the party matters in the area.
Capital district City Unit BJP President Tarh Soping in his address said that the BLC chalo abhiyan was a successful wherein the leaders have been able to meet all the committee members, they have been guided to move forward with responsibility for strengthened of the organisation base in capital complex.
Former MLA Kipa Babu, BJP Vice President Tame Phasang, Itanagar Bistarak Ngurang Choya, Arunachal West Bistarak (Incharge) Dug Saha, Eastern Incharge Boken Kino among other were present and address the gathering.
