Arunachal: Gamlin asks officials to learn GST systems and its rules and regulation

GST system is new for every one so he asked officers to learn GST  systems and its rules and regulation- Minister for Tax , Excise,  Jarkar Gamlin

Minister for Tax , Excise, Narcotic and Tourism Jarkar Gamlin have requested the officers of the Tax, Excise and Revenue department to dedicated their service for the development of the department and state.

Gamlin was addressing the officers on the occasion of inauguration of a conference hall for the Departments at the Commissioner office campus here at C Sector today.

Speaking on the occasion Gamlin said that the hall is gift for the departments and officers and it should be maintain and properly.

Earlier we used manual or challan system to collect tax, which is very difficult to re-corrects when there is any mistake but now in this computer age its very essay to correct if there is some mistakes, he added .

GST system is new for every one so he asked officers to learn GST  systems and its rules and regulation . if require officers should take training on the GST . he also advice the officer to do every  works by following  rules and regulation and Maintain the tax collection system for the welfare of the State.

Stating discussion with each other within the department is very important for solution and correction of any issue and should come up with a positive result. He added.

Parliamentary Secretary (Tax & Excise and Science & Technology) Tapuk Taku, inform that using modern technology  to collect tax and maintain records is now easy in this modern age.

Further he also said that after implementations of GST in state, the state tax collection is increased in to 2/3. And he also advice the officers to get proper training about GST to more effective in tax collection.

Taku assured all his support for promotion of the department works for increase of revenue and others.

Speaking on the occasion the commissioner of Tax and Exercise Anirud Saran Singh , expressing  his unhappy over the working style of departments officers and leakage of revenue previously is nothing but due to lack of sincerity.

Further he also said that after implementation of GST in state the state revenue increasing in comparisons to earlier.

The Minster and PS also distributed 25 nos of Laptop and Printer machine to the Superintendents and Assessing officers of various parts of state.
