Arunachal: Former BJP President Kangir Jamoh Passes away

Former State BJP president Kangir Jamoh has passed away on Tuesday evening at Guwahati. He was reportedly suffering from heart ailments. He is now survived by a wife, three sons and two daughters.

His mortal remains will be taken to Pasighat for people to pay their last respect. His last rites are expected to be performed on Thursday in Chimpu, Itanagar.

Late Jamoh, a one of the most popular figure among Adis was a jolly and energetic man during his time who served the entire Adis as President after retiring from active politics where he once been the State President of BJP.  Jamoh’s demise a big loss to the society.

Meanwhile, All Arunachal Pradesh Students Union (AAPSU) has mourned his death. Union termed late Jamoh as one of the pioneer tribal leaders of state and stated that his contribution towards uniting every tribe of state shall always be remembered.
