Arunachal: Five road projects has been launched in Nacho-TALIHA region- Khandu

Five road projects has been launched in the Nacho-TALIHA region, Rs 10 crore will be sanctioned for construction of a meeting hall in Taliha, informed Chief Minister Pema Khandu.

Chief Minister Pema Khandu today launched the third leg of Arunachal Rising campaign in Taliha in his Jan Sampark Yatra covering the western districts of Arunachal accompanied by MoS Home Kiren Rijiju, MLA Punji Mara and other dignitaries.

Speaking at a public function, Chief Minister said road map is being prepared and state government with help from centre is working to develop connectivity in TALIHA and Nacho area.

 He said once connectivity improves, the region will see decrease in distress migration as people are migrating towards district headquarters Daporijio for better facilities and opportunities.

On the occasion he informed that under PMGSY, five road projects has been launched in the Nacho-TALIHA region. Informing more about development projects in the region, CM informed that more than Rs 10 crore will be sanctioned for construction of a meeting hall in Taliha. He further informed that Rs 10 crore has been sanctioned already for construction of a stadium here.
