Arunachal:  Felix, Rebia visits Film and TV Institute

Bamang Felix, Minister, IPR and RWD, Nabam Rebia, Minister, Land management,  Sonam Chombay Secretary, IPR, visited the site of the Film and TV Institute (FTI) at Jote.

Bamang Felix, Minister, IPR and RWD,  alongwith Nabam Rebia, Minister Forest and Environment ,  Land management,  Sonam Chombay Secretary, IPR , Chief Secretary Satyagopal,  and the officers of implementing agencies, IPR department and others visited the site of the Film and TV Institute (FTI) at Jote of which  foundation stone was laid by Prime Minister Narendra Modi, recently.

Addressing the gathering, Bamang Felix exhorted the locals to create a conducive atmosphere so that the project is completed smoothly. This will bring long term benefits in the society in terms of economical development and secure the future of the coming generation.

I have come to bridge the relation between the locals and the project developers and hope this relation will be cordial and beneficial for both, the minister said. He also appreciated the land donors.

Many project like NIT, Women College, Law College,  Greenfield Airport etc. are coming up in the area which will usher in unprecedented development in the area. The Narendra Modi govt. in the centre and the Pema Khandu govt. in the state is committed for the developments to percolate down to the grassroots, informed the Minister.

He also appealed to the people to maintain the dignity and prestige of the institution so that more such projects come to the area. He assured that fund will be managed for wider road to the institution. He appreciated Secy. and Director (IPR) for their contribution in making the project come true.

The Minister informed that this institution is third of its kind in the country where the youths can persue their interest and become successful in the world of films and television. He assured the implementing agencies that all co operation and support will be provided by the state govt.

Nabam Rebia, said that Jote and its adjoining areas are turning out to be higher education hub with the setting up various important and prestigious institutions. He appealed all to co operate and help in bringing up the institution. He thanked all those who were  instrumental in bringing in the project.

The minister reiterated the commitment of the Central and the state government in all round development of the state. He assured to take up regarding the improvement of road to Balijan, Hollongi etc. which will usher in faster development to the area. He appealed all to maintain the quality of works and said that for broader road to the FTI, fund will be managed.

Satyagopal, Chief Secretary  said that the state is on the path of inclusive growth and development. The Team Arunachal’s endeavour is to develop Arunachal Pradesh as one of the best state of the country.

Recently the Prime Minister have laid foundation stones and inaugurated many mega projects which are part of the plan for comprehensive development of the state, said the CS.

The FTI which is third of its kind in the country will facilitate every knowledge in the field of Tv and  film making and may produce world renown personalities in future. He informed that the ministers were instrumental in bringing in the institution to the area and see the light of the day.

Manoj Kr. Talve , CE(PWD) and Prof. A Chakravarty, Nodal Officer FTI also spoke on the occasion.
