Bamang Felix, Minister RWD, IPR and Parliamentary Affairs inaugurated a slew of CSR initiatives in Hong village today under the agies of Helping Hand, a Delhi based NGO. Helping Hand led by Robin Hibu, IPS is spear heading the movement to improve living conditions and assist the distressed north east people living in different parts of the country.
” This day shall be etched in golden letters in the history of Hong village. It is the start of a Journey of philanthropic Activities initiated by kind hearted people from Delhi. Hong shall become the epicenter of CSR activities that will further percolate to other places in the state” said Bamang Felix while congratulating the people of Hong in particular and Ziro as a whole.
Expressing gratitude to the CEOs of various companies and organisation for choosing Arunachal as a part of their CSR activities, he extended full support to their endeavors. He further suggested for collection of feedback from the corporate leaders and tourists ,which will further assist the government in framing tourist friendly policies.
Good roads will accelerate the economy of the area. A concerted effort both from the government and public alone can finalize the dreams of good road, he also added.
He further assured to take up the Hong village road maintenance in this financial year.
In his inaugural address Robin Hibu, IPS expressed heartfelt gratitude to all the eminent personalities from different organizations from Delhi In being a part of youth empowerment in Arunachal Pradesh.
On the occasion the minister unveiled the statue of Lt. Hibu Nyipa, one of the first head Goan Buras of Hong village.
He also inaugurated Six Sigma Healthcare High Altitude Medical Centre and Mahatma Gandhi Rural Information Centre /library.
MLA Er.Tage Taki and Likha Saaya also spoke on the occasion.
The following CSR initiatives were also announced on the occasion. In a major boost to the rich cultural heritage to the people of Hong village , AFTA announced to build a state of art cultural hall. Six Sigma Health Care will train local people in high altitude health care services. National Youth Project will set up an information koisk at Rural Library ,a Vermi compost unit, which will produce 10 metric tons of vermi compost and a Regional Skill Training Center at Hong.
A. Khan, CEO, Satyadesh Magazine /TV channel announced to Sponsor an Academic Block at Helping Hand school. ALS a premier IAS coaching institute assured to set up a regional coaching centre in collaboration with Avanti IIT coaching centre Mumbai in Hong Village.
Exquisite Beauty Peagent organisers announced to conduct Subba Badminton tournaments at Helping Hands Schools , Sunrise Yonex badminton hall will be constructed by Sunrise Yonex(I) Pvt and Philanthropist Miss Saroj Kapoor wil provide a school bus and create a children’s park at Hong.
Exceptional achievers from Hong were also felicitated on the occasion. Special mention may be here made of Kago Mobin, a 12 year old Marathon runner who has won more than 13 races.
