The All East Siang District Students’ Union (AESDSU) today demanded the Home ministry to deliver justice to its former finance secretary late Ojing Taying.

Late Taying succumbed to the injuries after being attacked by two unknown persons on the night of 6 June 2017 at Niti Vihar here. A case was registered against the unknown assailants under section 341, 326, and 34 of the IPC at the Itanagar police station but till date no arrest has been made by the police.

Addressing a press conference at Arunachal Press Club here, AESDSU general secretary Tonong Darang said that even after 11 months to the incident the police has failed to nab the culprits who are still roaming freely. He added that the bereaved family members are still awaiting justice for late Taying.

Claiming that the case has been handed over to the SIT on April 28, Darang has demanded the investigating agency to nab the culprits within a month or AESDSU will take its own course of democratic movement.
