The capital district administration kicked off a eviction drive on Wednesday, apparently to clear in and around Tamo Riba Institute of Health & Medical Science (TRIHMS) and D Sector Middle School area.
The eviction team demolished more than ten permanent/semi permanent/temporary structure from the allotted land of TRIHMS in and around Rajiv Gandhi Stadium and area from Government Middle School, D Sector Naharlagun.
Capital Complex Deputy Commissioner Prince Dhawan informed that the eviction have been carried in and around Tamo Riba Institute of Health & Medical Science (TRIHMS) and D Sector Middle School area.
The eviction drive was spearheaded by Estate Officer cum EAC Naharlagun Hento Karga. Karga informed that the entire eviction process under TRIHMS has been completed and there is no other eviction left inside the campus and TRIHMS can now start with their academic session. He further informed that as the Estate Office he will provide all help and cooperation and asked them to approach him anytime for any help.
Meanwhile Dhawan appealed the local denizens of capital complex not to encroach upon the land of education and health institution and warned action will be initiated in phase manner against all those of which complaint are made to the administration.
He further stressed that the District Administration has zero tolerance against illegal vendors and illegal encroaches and has asked the denizens to stay away from such illegal activities.
