Arunachal:  DC Kra Daadi hold district review meeting

Kra Daadi Deputy Commissioner Pige Ligu while chairing a review meeting of the scheme under Untied fund and other flagship scheme meant for Kra Daadi district emphasis upon maintaining of proper procedure and formalities with transparency before executing any works.

The meeting seek the status report on Untied Fund sanctioned during 2017-18 and also to review the status of various flagships programmes and schemes undertaken in the District

He further urged the HODs to make digital transfer of fund to bring transparency and accountability. While reviewing the scheme of the departments undertaken DC asked the HODs to give timely physical & financial status, to take photographs and to do geo-tagging of the work.

He urged for interdepartmental coordination to avoid overlapping of works and to do soil testing in order to find out the feasibility of the soil for the project. He suggested for convergence of MGNREGA and PMKSY to mitigate water source depletion and to create and preserve seed’s gene pools of local crops. He also said that there is a need to inculcate reading habits.

DPO Biri Tako gave the status report of untied fund sanctioned during 2017-18 and the HODs gave reports of works executed by them. PD DRDA and ADC  S. Lowang said that initial fund allocated for PMAY-G has been digitally transferred to the beneficiaries

Suggestion from all members were put forward for the better execution of the projects in the district which include  PHED EE Likha Takhi, suggested that safai kramchari can be recruited by the gram sabha for Solid Waste Management of the village. DDSE suggested to have a meeting was held by involving all the stakeholders to improve the academic performance of the students.
