Arunachal: Capital police arrested 26 ILP violators

During a surprise checking capital police arrested 26 ILP violators from Kankar Nallah area.

while making surprise checking of ILP violators, 26 persons without ILP were arrested at the midnight of 12th October 2018 at Kankar Nallah under the active guidance of inspector Nikom Riba.

Today, all such violators were pushed back through the gates from where they infiltrated into Inner Line violating Sec 3 BEFR, 1873, informed the EAC Naharlagun Hento Karga.

The EAC further informed that in recent times, when inner line checking has been intensified and more attentions are given to restrict movement of people without ILP, the violators changed their modus operandi of making illegal entry into Inner Line by using vehicles moving during night.

Therefore, the District Administration Capital Complex has directed the OC PS Naharlagun, Nirjuli and Banderdewa to conduct regular surprise checking at night.

The Deputy Commissioner Prince Dhawan has time and again stressed that District Administration has zero tolerance against such violators and appealed people to refrain from such illegal activities.

    I loudly oppose ILP. Indian citizens must not come in it. Any Indian having any legal identity proof should be allow in ILP states to stay and travel. I urge Arunachal 24.in to favor this cause and raise voice to state government and central government.
