Arunachal:  Bike lifter Gang busted, 15 bikes recovered

Itanagar Capital police busted a gang of bike lifters and arrested three Bike lifter, recovered 15 two-wheeler in and around the capital complex.

On the Morning of 10th July public caught 3 bike  lifters namely Subom Muchuhary  (21 ) Birdhan Deomary  ( 20  ) and Budo Ramchiary ( 21 )along with 2 stolen vehicles from their possession and beaten up badly later on handed over at Itanagar Police Station.

After intensive interrogation conducted at Police Station they revealed many numbers of vehicles they have stolen from Capital Complex area and used Hollogi as a Hub to sell the stolen two wheelers.

A Police team was made by a SP Capital M Harsha Vardhan IPS which comprised of DySP(P) Moyir Basar Kamdak, OC T. Bage, IO ASI AK Jha and IRBN Jawans led by SDPO Itanagar Kamdam Sikom recovered 3 nos FZ Bikes, 1 Pulsar 200 CC, 4 nos of Scooty Ray-Z,  1 no Scooty Honda Dio and 1 no R-15 bike from various locations I.e Hollongi, Gohpur, Tengabari, Daflagarh Assam area.

One accused named Bridhan Deomari  told to  the police that he knows the shop at Yupia area who makes Fake RCs, Fake Driving Licence and Fake ILPs from where they used to make a fake RC book and handed over to their Customers who purchased their stolen vehicles in the pretext of selling genuine bike with Original RC book.

Arunachal:  Bike lifter Gang busted, 15 bikes recoveredAfter two days of intensive hide and seek play with the accused Capital Police was succeeded in nabbing the accused from their shop and seized 4 nos of Fake Driving Licence, 6 nos of fake ILPs, Fake Stamps, 2 nos mobile and 1 no CPU.

He also stated that since last one year he is making such Fake documents and handed over to various person. Later it was known that he was a juvenile.  After making all legal formalities he was handed over to his Parents.

Capital Police  is also successful to detained one person named Tana Roy age-19 yrs Village-Basarnalo with stolen 1FZ bike from Gohpur area and investigation is still on to ascertain the owner of the bike. SDPO Itanagar Kamdam Sikom informed that a total of 11nos of stolen two wheelers have been recovered so far and more are likely to be recovered soon.

Meanwhile a  case registered at Itanagar  PS Case No. 195/18 u/s 379 IPC.

Speaking to Arunachal24  SP Capital M Harsha Vardhan said that ‘ police  wanted to alert the anti- social elements that if someone found violating the laws and indulge in anti-social activities then strict action will be initiated against the accused as per the appropriate provision of law. He also told the public to keep sharp vigil and installed CCTVs in their respective home and shops if possible so that detection will be easy in such cases. He also appeal the public to cooperate the Police so that the work of police in detection will be easy’.

    An Appeal to Police Department please do check strictly even they wearing helmet, it will help to catch the bike/scoty lifter.

    My scooty was also stolen on 24june still have no clue.. So kindly send us the chassis no. Of scooty
