The Budget session of Arunachal Pradesh Legislative Assembly will commence on 9th March 2018. The session will be concluded on March 16. This will be the second budget session of ruling BJP government headed by Pema Khandu.
Deputy Chief Minister Chowna Mein, who holds the Finance portfolio, will present the 2018-19 annual budget.
A total eight bills will be table in this budget session including a new “Arunachal Pradesh Money Lending (Regulation) Bill 2018” is likely to be introduced in the floor of the House and “Arunachal Pradesh Land Settlement and Record Act 2000 (Amendment), Arunachal Pradesh Fiscal Responsibility and Budget Management (Amendment) Bill 2018 are also likely to be introduced in this session, official sources said.
