The week-long Utsav of Apex Profession University, Pasighat concluded on Saturday last which was comprises of various events like Sports, Literary, Cultural and Titling Mr. & Ms. APU.
On this occasion, Jalwa – the Cultural Night was celebrated with Traditional Culture of North East with blend of modernity. The event was organized in a colourful manner and drew the participation of nearly 350 contestants from five houses of various schools of the University.
Ms. Asha Taki and Mr. Jompe Ori won the titles of Ms. & Mr. APU respectively. The contestant students while performing their best in different matches, quiz, declamation and essay writing competitions gave a tough competition and made judges job more challenging.
The “Best out of Waste” was an amazing attraction to the spectators. The Siang House was adjudged as best house amongst five houses. The Chiarman of APU UTSAV 2019 committee, Mr. Kristop Gao expressed his satisfaction in exhibiting Apexians Talent and Creative Hunt.
Addressing the Concluding function as chief guest, Dr. Kinny Singh, Deputy Commissioner, District East Siang, appreciated the role of Apex Professional University in imparting quality education and blend of Academics, Co-curricular and Extra-curricular activities in shaping the personality of the students who will be tomorrow’s professionals.
She promised to render all type of support and guidance in shaping the future of the institution by creating conducive environment for professional trainers. Students were highly motivated by her inspiring speech.
While, Prof. (Maj.) Ashok Kumar, Vice-chancellor, Organizing Committee, Faculty and Members of Student Welfare Council expressed their gratitude to Deputy Commissioner for adding colour to the celebration and motivation.
Earlier, Rajiv Ranjan Singh, Superintendent of Police, East Siang kicked-off football and had declared the APU UTSAV 2019 during the beginning of the Utsav.
