Arunachal: ANSU, NESA raise voice against granting of PRC to Non- APST

The All Nyishi Students Union (ANSU), and Nyishi Ethnic Students’ of Arunachal (NESA), raised their voice against the statement on issue of Permanent Resident Certificate (PRC) to Non-APST of Lekang are of Namsai district recently by the Chief Minister Pema Khandu and Deputy Chief Minister Chowna Mein as a new year gift.

Briefing the reporters at Talo Higher Secondary School in Lower Subansiri district at the sideline of the visit for distribution of relief materials in Lower Subansiri district today,  ANSU General Secretary Tukbom Ligu said that Issuing of PRC is even of it restricted to Lekang will affect other part of he said.

It is unfortunate as why the Chief Minister and Deputy Chief Minister is in so hurry to announced about the PRC issue without waiting for the submission of the Joint High Power Committee (JHPC) report where they are also a member, he added .

On the other hand e Nyishi Ethnic Students’ of Arunachal (NESA) also  strongly oppose the granting of PRC to Non – APST, stated in a press release issued by Byabang Noah Dui, Spokesperson of NESA.

The state government had undermined the sentiments of the indigenous people of the state and the Nyishi Community by promising to granting of PRC to Non APST people leaving at Namsai and lohit district, said the press release .

The Nyishi Community and the Nyishi Ethnic Students’ of Arunachal ( NESA ) is not going to stay silence on this immature decisions by state government, stated Dui in his statement.

If the decisions are not taken back within this year then NESA may be forced to call democratic movements which disturb the economic development of the state, Doi threatened in his statement .

The decisions to Grant PRC to Non APST people may also force entire Nyishi Community and Tani Clan as a whole may force to demand Autonomous Council if BJP starts granting of PRC to Non APST, further mentioned in the press release.
