Arunachal:  AICC Names Former CM Nabam Tuki for MP and MLA ticket- Takam Sanjoy

Former Chief Minister Nabam Tuki name approved for candidate to contest from 1 Arunachal West Parliament constituency and his Assembly constituency from 15 Sagalee in Papum are district. informed APCC President Takam Sanjoy.

Sanjoy inform that party tickets for two seats of Arunachal Pradesh 1 Arunachal West and 2 Arunachal East parliamentary constancy is being approved and the central election committee (CEC) of all India Congress Committee (AICC) have approved  the name of former Chief Minister Nabam Tuki from West while former Home minister L Wanglat from East.

Three names were send from Pradesh Congress Committee (PCC) for Jarjum Ete, Khyoda Apik and Geli Ete while the CEC have approved the name of former Chief Minister Nabam Tuki considering various aspect of winning chances. Though Tuki have not applied for party ticket for parliamentary election, however Tuki name is also considered  for the assembly election and he will contest for parliamentary constituency as well as from his home assembly constituency of 15 Sagalee.

There was an information from AICC about proposing of former Chief minister to fight election. I have suggested Tuki to contest from Sagalee as well and it would be a history of state that a candidate is fighting for assembly and parliamentary election as well at a same time.

For party ticket for assembly election, Sanjoy said that PCC have finalised nomination of names for 40 assembly constituency which have been forwarded to AICC for approval.

On coalition matter, Sanjoy said that it was offered given by APCC but if other party does not like it is upto them. door is open for PPA and JDS and all those likeminded party who are against BJP may come referring the government in Kranataka where congress and JDS is having an alliance. Sanjoy added.
