The All Adi Students’ Union  ( AdiSU ) have launch 48  hour  Hunger Strike from 8 am on Wednesday demanding justice for the victim families of Namsai arson case.

The AdiSU have launch 48  hour  Hunger Strike from 8 am on Wednesday demanding justice for the victim families of New Mabira/Kaihi Nallah Madhuvan area of  Namsai, immediate rehabilitation of  affected families,  immediate arrest and legal action against the culprit.

Talking to Arunachal24  AdiSU President, Nang Gao said that the hunger strike have started from today morning. Administration has allowed to sit only four person at the dharna place who are in hunger strike.

Gao said that ” Dharna is against the failure of Namsai District administration, as AdiSU’s earlier appeal for arrest of all miscreants responsible for burning down of several houses of Adi communities on 12th and 15th October 2019 last including rehabilitation and security of the affected families were not met yet.

AdiSU said that an office memorandum was also submitted to DC Namsai in this regard including organizing peaceful dharna. Five members from AdiSU led by Kalen Tadeng  have started their 48 hours hunger strike today.
