Arunachal- AAPLU observed foundation day in befitting manner

The All Arunachal Pradesh Labour Union (AAPLU) observed it’s foundation day on Thursday with the  flag hoisting by president AAPLU Dana Tadu.

Addressing the labourers from different parts of the state AAPLU president Dana Tadu urged them to cooperate the union without your support we can’t do anything,  he also described the benefits of registration in the association.

He said many labourers were threatened by the contractors even the contractors refused to pay the hard earn money of the labourers we will not entertain this practices.

He also urged labourers to charge labour charge which is fixed by the union and not to charge more than that.

Minimum wages advisory board chairmen Kage Mara spoke on various rights and duties of the labourers. He also spoke on the benefits of the labour card.

AAPLU general secretary Tame Akin, AAPLU advisor T H Cherum and spokesperson AAPLU Tori Gadi also spoke on the occasion.

Later the union also distributed –mosquito net, gumboots, umbrella and bag to the labourers,

The union also submitted a memorandum to the chief minister Arunachal Pradesh to approve the revised rate of the labourers with immediate effect.
