Arunachal: 70th Republic day celebrated across the state

Apart of state level celebration at IG Park several government offices, private institution, schools, colleges, university, public institution and public institution celebrated the republic day celebration with unfurling of Tricolour, distributions of sweets, prabhat ferry, singing of patriotic song and national anthems in almost all the small, big towns, and villages of the state

Tricolour  was flown in almost all the political party headquarter across the state. At BJP Headquarter state President  Tapir Gao unfurl while at APCC Office the try colour was unfurl by  Vice President Tachu Hina,  APYC office here where IYC Secretary I/C Arunachal Pradesh Toqer Alam did the flag hosting.

All Arunachal Pradesh Workers Union (AAPWU) also celebrated republic day at his office near TT Plant with lots of cultural programme and the national flag was unfurl by its state President Tadang Yangfo.

In Kra Daadi– Palin DC S. Miji unfurled the national flag in the presence of HODs, Ex PRI members, students and public on the occasion of 70th Republic Day celebration at Palin’s General Ground. While speaking in his ceremonial address, DC said that this year Republic Day is significant as it goes with the theme “Gandhi” to commemorate 150th birth anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi. He urged the Govt. Employees and public to abide by the spirit of “Team Kra Daadi” for smooth and rapid development of the new district in future and to implement all the schemes and projects as per the guidelines in fair and transparent manner.

In Bhalukpong-  Republic day celebration was followed by Launch of Solid Waste Management for Twin township of Bhalukpong and Tippi which consist of 3 Gram Panchayat’s- Upper Bhalukpong , Lower Bhalukpong And Tippi.  About 60 waste bin set (Blue And Green coloured for degradable and Non Degradable) are to be placed with one incharge in all sectors. local MLA Kumsi Sidisow unfurling the tricolour and take the salute of the parade of several contingent of police and school children follows by several cultural performances by school and local team of various tribes. Weapon display, PT display, distribution of prizes for several games and sports and marathon race and presentation of certificates to several government servants, social workers and GBs etc

In Tezu-  Joining with rest of India, the tri colour was unfurled by Karma Leki DC Lohit at Jubilee Ground amidst the presence of Agriculture minister Dr Mohesh Chai, DW Thungon SP, Gulap Singh CCF Eastern Zone, former Minister Nakul Chai, Head of Officials, Army officials, Gaon burahs, Former PRI member, senior citizens, student and general public.  DC briefly highlighted the slew of attainment of the district including most pulsating ‘Sarkar Aap Ke Dwar’ due to which over 11,000 beneficiaries benefited from both central and state schemes, ‘Arunachal Rising’.

In Balijan-  The 70th Republic Day was celebrated in Balijan Administrative Headquarter with great joy and enthusiasm. The day long programme started with prabhat ferry taken out early in the morning at 06:00 am by the students of Govt. Hr. Sec. School, Govt. Middle School Upper Tubung, Carmel Residential School, VKV Balijan, etc. shouting Slogan…Bharat Mata ki Jai, Janda Uncha Rahe hamara, Mahatma Ghandi ki Jai etc. The Tricolour was unfurled by ADC Tasso Gambo, followed by the Guard of Honour. March Past was displayed by the Students of Carmel Residential School Balijan, Techi Bado Memorial English School, Tengabari and VKV Balijan.

In Yuipa-   Deputy Commissioner Dr. Joram Beda graced the occasion and unfurled the National Flag and inspected the parade contingents TBP, State Police, NCC (NIT,Yupia) NCC (Boys) GHSS, Doimukh, NCC (Girls) GHSS, Doimukh, Scouts and Guides, GHSS Doimukh and JNV,Gumto and Band Platoon, VKV Nirjuli.  DC highlighted the many new developmental programmes introduced by the state Govt especially in the field of Education, Health, Power, Agriculture and Horticulture sectors for the benefit of people of Arunachal Pradesh and appealed the all administrative officers to give awareness about schemes among the village people so that they can avail the benefits.

In Tawang-   The 70th Republic day was celebrated with colourful cultural items and parade contingents from SSB, IRBn, APP,NCC, Scout & guide and Cubs Bulbul from different schools giving their salutation to national flag, in the border district of Tawang. The celebration was made in all the administrative centres of Tawang with same spirit and patriotism.  DC Tawang, Sang Phuntsok paid his tribute to the great freedom fighters and  gratitude to all Ex MLA’s and Ministers and remembered their contribution towards making of the present society.
