The 3rd Tage Raja Memorial Football Tournament concluded on 15th Augusta. The closing ceremony witnessed a pulsating finale, D BROTHER’S UNITED fought back twice to deny the defending champions but couldn’t deter the hopes of TIPPI YOUNGSTAR to lift the trophy for the 2nd time in a row ,final score (2-3).
The match was attended by Aju Khunjuju, Vice Chairman, ASBA as Chief Guest and Tamo Riba,EAC Bhalukpong as Guest of Honour.
The awardees of the tournament are,
Best Discipline Team: Ruth Foundation school
Best Goalkeeper: Rishof Ramdasow( Tippi Youngstar )
Highest Scorer: Atoram Sakrinsow(Hrusso XI)
Best Player: Nibol Zongluju (D Brothers United)
The winner walked away with a cash prize of ₹ 1,00,000(Rupees One lakh only) with trophy and the runner’s up with a cash prize of ₹ 50,000(Rupees Fifty thousand only).
