31st Statehood day celebrated at Namsai club field with huge enthusiasm amidst mammoth gathering of govt. officials, PRI members, GB’s, Students and general public. R.K. Sharma, Deputy Commissioner, Namsai ceremonially unfurled tricolor. Apur Bitin, DIG(East), Tape Bagra, IAS(Rtd) Commissioner, Senior Govt. officials and Public leaders were amongst the witness of the ceremony.

 In his ceremonial address Sharma expressed gratitude to all stakeholders who extended their untiring contributions in realizing the people’s dream of full-fledged Frontier State Arunachal Pradesh. He recalled the brief journey of the state right from Imperial   British regime to today’s developing Arunachal Pradesh. Focusing   several flagship programs of Govt. of India and state govt.

Sharma appealed to the people especially youth of the district to avail maximum benefit from the schemes to improve socio-economic development of the area. Emphasizing the needs of Aadhaar and bank accounting seeding in all subsidize schemes, Sharma advised to enroll left out populace of the district under Biometric Enrollment of Aadhaar in 3 PCs being operational in the district.

To achieve 100 percent purification of existing Electoral roll he requested to cooperate with BLO’s of the district to capture color photographs for issuing PVC EPIC to all electors. Colorful cultural display from various communities, educational institutions, NGOs of Namsai district enthralled the crowd.

A skit on the sacrifice of Martyr Hav. Hangpan Dada, Ashok Chakra (posthumous) , presented by the students of Ven. Uktara Bethany College drew the emotions of all and was applauded largely.   Sharma, formally opened the Self Help group Mela under Micro Finance Vision organized in the ceremonial ground and given away the prizes to the NGOs. Report of celebration from all administrative Hq of the district received. At Chowkham, Oling Lego, EAC, at Lekang Shri Jogesh Taye, ZPM 2-Upper Lekang, at Latho R. Karlo, CO unfurled the tricolor
