Arunachal: 14-year-old boy drowns in Pare river

the deceased is a minor aged around 14 year,  a resident of Itanagar and permanent resident of Palin in Kra Daadi district.

14-year-old boy reportedly drowned in Pare river today afternoon near Sopo in Doimukh, informed Papum Pare SP Jimmy Cheram .

A information was received in afternoon at around 12.55, about a minor boy have been drowned in Pare river near a picnic spot at Sopo in Doimukh.

After receiving  information  the police team from Doimukh Police station and NDRF team immediately rushed to the spot. However locals engaged there have been able to retrieved the body from the river, SP informed.

He said that the deceased is a minor aged around 14 year,  a resident of Itanagar and permanent resident of Palin in Kra Daadi district.

A case of unnatural death in  Doimukh Police station have been registered.

After conducting postmortem and other legal formalities the body handed over to the family members for conducting last rite. Cheram added.
