9th NE Riders Meet to be held in Pasighat

After Meghalaya, the 9th edition of North East Rider Meets(NERM) will be held at Renggin village, Pasighat in East Siang of Arunachal Pradesh on 10,11 and 12th November this year. Which is being hosted by Arunachal Bullet Club  (ABC), Itanagar with supports of Royal Siang Rider Pasighat, The Gliding Piranhas, Naharlagun and 30 North Motorcycle club, Aalo.

Announcing the date of 9th edition of NERM at Pasight for this year, the Arunachal bullet Club(ABC) chief Dingwang Wangham inform in a press conference held today at Arunachal Press Club here that the very first edition of NERM was held in Assam – Kaziranga, in 2009 and initiative was taken by Sunil Karnany, a member of Rhino Rider MC and the members from Arunachal Bullet Club and other state from NE also participated with the motto of the meet “When We Meet, We Grow”.

And the Second Edition of NERM was held in Mechuka  Arunachal Pradesh. The event was hosted by ABC in this edition saw a number of Riders and Club participation from other parts of the country. Reported participation in numbers for the second edition stood at 160 bikers. And yearly the repeatedly the numbers of riders or Bikers are increasing and now numbers of riders reached up to 1000 and expeting more than 12 bikers from across the country.

And in this year again NERM will held in State with motives of good cause State, awareness, and promotion of tourism as well as cultural exchanges because in this meet more than thousands riders are going to be participated from across the country.

While highlighting the two day meet, the president of Royal Siang Rider cum spokespersons of events Jobom Chang Mengu said that this meet will be eco friendly, greenery and cleanliness will be maintain, the riders are not going to used plastic items and there is also plantation during meet and planning for plants around 1000 sapling at area with supports of forest departments and more from members of Adi Bany Kebang near the venue. There will be cultural program, adventuress activity like River rafting, paragliding etc. and hopping that more than thousands riders are going to participate and 30 percent will be women.

Wangham said that the venue is on the bank of mighty river Siang, so far 746 members have taken registration through online from Nepal, Sri lanka, Thailand, Netherland and from different parts of our country. He said we all belongs from different community, tribe religion but riding is a passion and where we all show that we all are one and bone to brotherhood.

He however appeal the state government specially Tourism department to support the event and also appeal the general public to visit the tourist new tourist destination of the riders on the bank of river Siang and enjoy the nature with fun and view the cultural exchange programme there.
