5 year girl drowned in Senki river,  Massive landslide all over state

A 5 year girl drowned in Senki river from Senki view area when she was playing near by her resident in afternoon, while massive landslide reported from all over state.

Lots of search was made all along the  downstream of Senki river which turned overflow due to heavy downpour since last night. The body was spotted near Shiv Mandir at Chandranagar but could not able to recover due to high current of the river water. Later at last it was recovered from Police Colony at around 1 30 pm. The body was identified by the parents as Bamang Nyeir, 5 year daughter of Bamgang Tachang, a permanent resident of Sangram under Kurung Kurmey district.

On the other hand reports received from sources said that road blocked between Sagalee-Doimukh, Doimukh-Hoj, Putin, Kimin-Putin, several places between Itanagar-Naharlagun however it was restored after intervention of Highway department late afternoon, Traffic in between Itanagar was halted for hours together when a landslide blocked NH-415 near AP Secretariat which was later restored.

Road of Bage Tinali-Doimukh, Nirjuli Police station,  Pachin colony turned into swimming pool, Nirjuli-Banderdewa road was blocked when landslide blocked the NH-415 near Durga Mandir and Dumping ground which was restored after few hours. There have been more than 9 places landslide between Itanagar-Naharlagun like near HH Bar, Sango Bar, Him Petrol Pump, Near Shiv mandir, Near lagachu statue and even several tree fallen on National Highway and other sector roads were cleared by the department and others with supports of the locals while many sector and colony roads have been severely damaged one like of C-II Sector wherein a single metre of road is not worthy for traffic movement. Including several arterial road damaged due to which the local denizens are facing lots of inconvenient in moving out of their resident due ot heavy downpour which would continue for next two days as per report.

The vehicle on Trans Arunachal Highway from Yupia Tinali  to onwards, Doimukh-Harmuty via Gumto, Itanagar-Hollongi are plying but need special attention of the disaster management and Highway or works department as chances of blockage are likely.

The only lifeline between Itanagar-Naharlagun is the NH-415 and the Borpani bridge is in severe threat by the overflowing treat and may collapse if necessary precaution is not taken, the administration need to maintain prohibition of all heavy vehicle on the said bridge.

Road to Lobi, Senki view, Senki park,Rakap Colony, Biological park area has been also badly affected due to landslide while the Senki river have damaged the road of Primary School at Upper Chandaranagar measuring more than 150 mtrs while protection wall along the river measuring 200 mtrs have been completely damaged/washed away and the river water entered the residential houses of the locals residing the bank of the river right from Senki view, Senki park, Chandranagar, police colony, chimpu area. It is expected that more that 10000 people have been affected from the fresh flood and landslide in the Capital Complex in particular and state as a whole.

It is reported that the road between Ziro-Yazali, Yachuli-Koloriang is bad shape, Tarasso Youth Welfare Association (TCYA) Tacha John said that the only life line between Baijan-Tarasso is Hanging bridge over river Pare at Ramghat is also threatened due to  and about to collapse if immediate action for repairing  and maintenance is not taken up urgently and the area would cut up.

More than twenty housed have been badly damaged in Chandranagar Power House colony, Chandranagar government qtrs line, Police colony, Mowb-II, Lobi in Itanagar alone,

In Naharlagun 3 OBT grocery shop of Raha Anu, Raha Yaro, Raha Talu completely damaged on Papu Nallah-Jully road near Papu Nallah Tinali. Revival Church at Pachin Colony damaged due to landslide,

The hanging bridge which carry the water supply line for Naharalgun collapse this morning while water supply to Itanagar ad Naharlagun is completely affected and would takes several days for restoration.

Karsingsa ASM KIpa Taniang informed that incessant rainfall has damaged many properties of the local denizens of Karsingsa, Tadar Tagyam, Tadar Yapuk, Kipa Gagung, Takak Yangfo, Jomoh Rajen, Kipa Doyang, Nabam Tagak, Kipa Kecha and Teli Hormin have lost their valuable properties

The link road of Karsingsa Complex, Karsingsa-II, Duda Village have been severely affected owing to heavy rainfall causing blockage

Nirjuli reporter informed that more than 50 houses lying near NERIS campus on bank of river Dikrong were flooded by overflowing river which completely damaged al belongings of the labourers and locals.

Bhalukpong report AE PHED Aju Khonjuju informed that the restoration of water supply is almost done and water supply would be made available to the Bhalukpong township by tomorrow, while Itanagar PHED AE Debia Padang said that the water supply pipeline have been collapse near helipad and the Naharlagun township.
